Harradine Golf is glad to announce that Phase 1 (sub-grading) of the Mudon Golf Course in Dubai has been completed and the golf course construction has been awarded to Orient Irrigation Services. Mudon Golf Course is a project financed by DUBAI PROPERTIES, a well-known developer.
The classic PAR 72 course, with a total length of 6936 yards from the back tees is dispersed with relics to reinforce the historical Arab theme of this particular project. The course offers an internal lung that will greatly improve the environment and provide great golfing opportunities for future residents.
The variety and placement of hazards and tees with the sandy waste areas, desert vegetation and occasional tree-lined fairways will offer golfers an eye-catching visual and mental experience.
The 18th hole is a dramatic dogleg par 5, and does not require a direct shot to be played over the lake but will offer the discerning golfer the opportunity to carry a large expanse of water in order to reach the green in two shots for the chance of a finishing eagle.
The clubhouse will be an iconic landmark for Dubai and more significantly for Mudon. It will arguably be the most beautiful and functional clubhouse in the UAE and will be set apart through a stunning use of architectural theme and reflections of Arabic culture.
This extensive development includes the 18 hole championship course, 1639 town houses and over 1800 villas.
The theme of the development is based on 5 Arabian cities (Baghdad, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Marrakesh) in their traditional urban form with residential areas based on typical courtyards that will resemble those historic Arab city centers.
Mudon, or “Homeland of the Arab” as the name translates, will provide an insight into the traditional Arabic architecture and culture. |
